Our New Outdoor Fairy Garden

This year, we decided that we needed a larger fairy garden.  This is what we ended up with!

   

 

  

 

 

Flag Day Parade

We were lucky to be included in the Fairfield Flag Day festivities!

 

Here we are with the Spokane Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and marching in the parade.

Lemon the Butterfly

Selena discovered this butterfly at grandma’s house.  She followed it around from flower to flower and named it Lemon.

We were invited to attend grandma’s schools skate day.  We had a blast!

Today we had eye exams to finish up our study of the human eye!

 

 

Selena was a little scared at first, but then did great!

 

The doctor told Abby that she had excellent vision and she should be a pilot when she grows up!

Arboretum with Rachel

Today we said goodbye to Rachel, it was a sad day but we filled it with fun things!  We took her to the arboretum, where we went the first time we met, we had lunch at IHOP (where we had our Christmas send off lunch), and we went to Manito Park.  We have gotten to love Rachel and will miss her now that she is going back to Michigan.

   

 

 

   

Grubs in the Grass!

We had a lot of rain and the grassy swale alongside our house filled with water.  While we were splashing around playing in it, Selena discovered some “worms” coming up through the grass.  There were hundreds of them, and it was pretty gross!
