Peeper Hatched!

 

This morning when we got up, Peeper had hatched. 

 

He was kind of sickly from the start, so we hoped for the best.

   

The girls spent a lot of time playing with the playdoh, chicken, and chicks.

 

Peeper died a few hours after she hatched :(

We went to Aslin Finch and bought some already hatched chicks to replace ours that didn’t hatch.

This project was fun, and we learned a lot.  It was nice that even though only one of our eggs hatched, we still got to experience the process.  The little chicks from the store sure are cute!
