Circus!

We had a great time at the circus.
 We rode "Marie" the elephant!
 So excited!
 Welcome to the show!
Wow!  That's some serious hula hooping!
The Ring of Death!  Or some such thing... I couldn't watch!
 Marie and her friend!

Easter Blessings

We had a great Easter weekend.  On Saturday we colored eggs...

Then on Easter we went to a very nice service at St. Joseph's and met a very nice homeschooling family that sat in front of us.  Usually at church we sit with Greg's parents with the ushers, so it was nice this time to meet other families.
When we came home, the Easter Bunny had been to our house!  The girls were SO spoiled!  They got bicycles, and full baskets of goodies (new outfit, baseball mitts with balls, coloring books, a domino set and other fun stuff!).

 Clown car?
She was going so fast that when she stopped, she just kept going!

All the fun Easter goodies that we made... Cake Pops, homemade chocolates, bird nest, Bunny Hutch

Lowe's Build and Grow BIRDHOUSES!

We are super excited about the Build and Grow activity today!  It is a birdhouse that attaches to the window, so you can see the birds building a nest and watch what they are up to.  I'm not sure if it will actually work, since the hole is so small, and because I think the birds wouldn't like someone looking at them and lights going on and off... we'll see.

5th Birthday! Snow, Shopping, Ice Cream, and all kinds of fun stuff

We had the busiest day today (April 21, 2011).
Today is Selena's 5th birthday. We woke up to SNOW!

After playing out in the snow, we came in for some hot chocolate and cake!

In the afternoon I made some Easter chocolates.

This was the first batch.  I made a few more bunnies, and some small bunnies and eggs and chicks.  Yummy!

For the big girls birthday, she got a new bed (well, kind of, she had a 3 in 1 crib that converted to a full size bed).  We took her shopping and let her pick her new mattress, and got the frame and came home to build it.
It is hard to keep the other one out of bed with her.  They slept together that first night!
Pretty sweet little girls.

Geocaching with Daddy

Mommy had to work out of town all day today, so the girls spent the day with Great Grandma Pat, and on their way home with Daddy, they got to go geocaching!  He picked such a fun one that they even had to do some "rock climbing."

Dentist!

I love my girls so much, they LOVE going to the dentist!  They've always liked going, have never had a cavity and are such happy girls!
